The item you are offered today is a pre-cut and punched rawhide rattle head.
It measures approximately 8" x 4" and is ready to soak and make your own rattle.

The hard work is done ~ now you get the fun.

Soak your rattle head and rawhide lace in cool water (never hot water).
Thicker rawhide requires at least 24 hours soaking.

SOAK IN CLEAN CONTAINER:

It is vitally important that the container you soak your rawhide in be completely clean. Any residue from cleaning fluids, dyes, even fruit juices that have dried on your pan or bucket will change the composition of the rawhide. Example: soaking rawhide lace in a pan that has dried residue on it (even if you can't see it) will turn the rawhide lace into rubberbands rendering it useless for anything.

You will need to purchase your own feathers, fur, leather or beads to embellish the rattle, depending
on what effects you wish to have.
